Craps is a dice game played with two dice. The objective of Craps is to predict what number will be rolled. Example: you can bet that a 4 will be rolled. You can also bet that a particular number will be rolled first, such as betting that a 4 will be rolled before a 7.
ABOUT CRAPS
Craps is played in rounds, the first roll of the dice is called the 'come out roll' and this begins the round. You can win or lose on the come out roll depending on your bet. If you don't win or lose on the first roll 'the come out roll' then the number that was rolled becomes the 'point'. Once the point has been established the round carries on until the point or a 7 is rolled.
BETTING
Winning and losing depends on what kind of bet you place. These bets are come bets, pass line bets and don't come bets.
Passline Bet
Betting that a 7 or 11 will be rolled on the come out roll or betting that the point will be rolled before a 7.
Pass Odds (Taking the Odds)
This is an additional bet that the point will be rolled before a 7. This bet can only be made
after you have made a pass line bet and if a point has been established.
Don't Pass Bet
Betting that a 2 or 3 (craps) will be thrown on the come out roll or that 7 will be thrown before the point.
Don't Pass Odds (Laying the Odds)
This is an additional bet that a 7 will be rolled before the point. You have to have made a Don't Pass Bet before you can make a Don't Pass Bet and a point needs to be established.
Come Bet
This bet is similar to a Pass Line Bet. This bet is made after the point has been established for another round. The following roll becomes the come out roll for your bet. If a 7 or 11 is rolled on the come out roll you win and if a 2, 3 or 12 is rolled on the come out roll you lose.
Come Odds (Taking the Odds)
This bet is an additional bet that the point will be rolled before a 7. You can only place this bet if you have made a Come Bet and a point has been established. If you roll a 7 before the point you lose. You win if a point is rolled before a 7.
Don't Come Bet
This bet is similar to a Don't Pass Bet. The Don't Come Bet is only placed after the point has been established for another round of Craps. The next roll is the come out roll, this allows multiple rounds to be played. On this come out roll if a 2, 3 (Craps) is rolled you win. If a 7 or 11 is rolled on the come out roll you lose.
Don't Come Odds (Laying the Odds)
When the point has been established for your Don't Come Bet , an additional bet can be made that a 7 will be rolled before a point. If a point is rolled before a 7 you lose and if the 7 is rolled before a point you win.
Place Bet
Betting that a particular point number will be rolled before a 7. All the numbers that can be a point are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. If the point you bet on is rolled before a 7 you win and if a 7 is rolled before the number you bet on you lose.
Place Lose Bet
Betting that a 7 will be rolled before a point number is rolled. If the number you made a Place Bet on is rolled before a 7 you lose and if a 7 is rolled first you win.
Buy Bet
Betting that a particular point will be rolled before a 7. Point numbers include 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. A Buy Bet is similar to a Place Bet.
Lay Bet
Betting a 7 will be rolled before a point is rolled. A Lay bet is similar to a Lose Bet. You pay 4 % commission on a Lay Bet to get true odds.
Field Bet
Betting that the next roll will be a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. You are paid out according to the number rolled.
Proposition Bet
These are one roll bets, if you roll a 2 or 12 it pays 31:1. 3 or 11 pays out 16:1 and any Craps rolled (2, 3 or 12) pays 8:1.
Big 6 bet
When the point has been established you bet that a 6 will be rolled before 7. The Big 6 Bet pays 1:1.
Big 8 Bet
After the point has been established you bet that an 8 will be rolled before a 7. This Bet pays 1:1.
Any Craps bet
